CALA:  Comandos Anticomunistas Latino Americanos  (Latin American  Anti-Communist Commandos)

Small group of Latin Americans from various countries.  Early 62 had plan ("Accion Mayo" - Operation May) to kidnap communist leaders in 18 Latin American countries and hold them as ransom for Cuban-held political prisoners; plan abandoned for lack of US support.  Only known member:  Ruben Armando REYNOSO Suarez, former Argentine diplomat.

One of 90 groups supporting GARCERAN and PGCC.  Exists only in exile.  Leaders:  Leopoldo MORFFI Machado, Orlando GARCIA Vazquez, Oscar DIAZ.

Identified only by one press report as having been organized July 1962 and incorporated into ALC.

CHRISTIAN ANTI-COMMUNIST GROUP, INC.

Organized in Key West in 1960.  Sell bonds printed in English.  May 1962 had training site in Florida Keys.  Leaders:  Manuel P. DAVILA.  Orlando CARABELLO, Ramiro RANGEL.

CIDL:  Comite Interamericano de Defensa de las Libertadas

(Inter-American Committee for the Defense of Liberties)

Inter-American organization connected with "Constitutional Armed Forces of Cuba", planning series of military missions to Cuba.  Secretary:  Leonides PLAZA, Ecuadoran military officer, who came to US in summer 1962 seeking recruits among exiles; made contact with Ruben de LEON, who claims to have sent PLAZA on Latin American recruiting tour.

One of inside organizations incorporated into ARAC.  Several refugees have refered [referred] to resistance leader LORENA (probably war name).
