GUTIERREZ Arbendez; Enrique QUEVEDO aka Julian de Mar; Francisco LANZA;
Higinio AGUILAR; Sevedo VALFALO; Humberto GONZALEZ; Pedro FERNANDEZ;
Armando FERNANDEZ.
II. HISTORY
Organized 1961, Ybor City, Tampa. Headquarters at 1515, 10th
Avenue, Ybor City. New officers elected June 62 and branch formed in
West Tampa to create new interest and increase membership.
Activities consist of anti-Castro/Communist propaganda. Has held
public rallies in Tampa area. Publishes official organ "Cuba
Libre". Funds come from dues paid by members attending regular weekly
meetings.
III. CURRENT STATUS
Continues to hold weekly meetings at its headquarters each Tuesday
evening. Total membership stands at approximately 120 members of
which about 80 attend weekly meetings on regular basis. Lacks
sufficient funds to publish "Cuba Libre" on regular basis. Has no
reserve funds. West Tampa Branch has not progressed as expected
and meetings of that branch are not held on regular basis.
