Common Title: A. L. C.
Title: Alianza para la Libertad de Cuba
Alliance for the Liberty of Cuba
Pro-Batista. Basic principle: To return Cuba to same political,
economical and social status which prevailed under Batista. Claim
to have the objective of taking armed warfare to Cuba with the Cubans
who are abroad. Opposed to CRC. Attempting to organize
members of the National Police force separate from the PNCE. UR
approached to join ALC but refused. Considered as related but
have not yet joined: PNCE, FACE, ELN and Rosa Blanca.
Former functionaries of past regime reportedly joining the
movement. Group exists only in U. S.
Lending Personalities: Gen. Generoso CAMPOS Marquetti, Pres., 80
year old Negro, fought in Cuba War of Independence: Justo Luis
Del POZO y del Puerto: Dr. Wilfredo ALVAREZ del Real; Dr. Eliseo

II. HISTORY
Founded in U. S. No program of action is known to
exist. No plans for clandestine operations. ALC propaganda
carried on through political activities. An Executive Committee
for the organization formed last week of July 1962.
III. CURRENT STATUS
Claim to have presented a report to OAS and UN denouncing atrocities and crimes of the communist government in Cuba.
