Common Title: A. I. C.; Combat Infantry Group
Title: Agrupacion de Infanteria de Combat
Combat Infantry Group
Completely Batista-oriented. Consists of former members of Cuban
Armed Forces army, navy, police, air force). Claimed primary
objective liberate Cuba without sectarianism, political chicanery, or
personal ambitions. Proposed organization: 1) Legal and
representative commission; 2) advisory commission; 3) a legal,
administrative and correspondence secretariat. Like U. S. Army,
will have G-1, G-2, G-3, G-4 and G-5

ALONZO, L. Col. Jose Maria SALAS CANIZARES; Gen. Jose
Eleuterio PEDRAZA Cabrera; Lt. Col. Angel SANCHEZ Mosquera; Merob SOSA;

Principal Activities to Date: By May 62, the activity had come to
a …. in Los Angeles. Reason: Rumor from Miami that
Batista had recruited a force of 20,000 Moors whom he would lead
in ….Rumor, given some credence by exiles is that Batista …have
2,000.
III. CURRENT STATUS:
No activity waiting to see what Batista will do. From all indication, no more than a paper organization.
