TELEPHONE: [deleted]The following information has been received by this office from the City of Miami Police Department.
On Tuesday, February 27, 1996, the Antonio Maceo Brigade, The Alliance of Workers of the Cuban Community, and the Miami Coalition Against the Embargo of Cuba are organizing a demonstration at the Pathfinder Bookstore, located at 137 N.E. 54th Street, Miami, Florida. The event will commence at 10:30 a.m.
The purpose of the protest is to urge President Clinton not to approve what they term as coercive and inhumane measures against the Cuban government, for the downing of the two planes and lost of four lives. The aforementioned groups believe that "Brothers to the Rescue" is ultimately responsible, for the downing of the planes due to their extreme political agenda, and their repeated violations of Cuban air space.
The Criminal Intelligence Bureau will disseminate any new information expeditiously.
