The following information has been received by this office:

On Friday, January 19, 1996, commencing at 4:00 p.m., members of the Cuban exile groups in Miami will participate in a civil demonstration.

This event will take place at the entrance to the Port of Miami, located at 1015 North American Way, Miami, Florida.  The purpose of this act is to protest against cruise lines traveling to the Bahamas.

Cuba has agreed to accept the return of up to 30 of its citizens a week, among the 220 currently under detention in the Bahamas for illegal entry, according to the provisions of a newly signed repatriation agreement made public Wednesday, January 17, 1996.

The Criminal Intelligence Bureau will disseminate any new information expeditiously.
