On Thursday, May 11, 1995, 1995, the Criminal Intelligence Unit received the following information from Metro-Dade Police Captain A. Socarras.

Captain Socarras found a flyer (See attached) on the ground at HUD Headquarters, located in the vicinity of the Orange Bowl Stadium.  The flyer states that on Friday, May 12, 1995, the Cuban exile community in Dade County is calling for a work stoppage, excluding firemen, policemen, medical professionals, and radio and Hispanic television.  The flyer is also urging the exiles to disconnect their telephones, and not to send their children to school.

On Friday, May 12, 1995, at 5:00 pm, the flyer urges the Cuban Exile community to demonstrate in front of the Freedom Tower, located at Biscayne and N.W. 1 Street, in Downtown Miami.

The Criminal Intelligence Section will monitor and disseminate any new information expeditiously.
