Kenia Serrano and Rogelio Polanco Fuentes, two Cuban Nationals, members of the Center of Studies for Youth in Havana, Cuba, have been invited to attend Florida International University (FIU) on April 23, 1995, for the purpose of addressing a selected group of invites regarding the present U.S. Embargo against Cuba.

Serano and Fuentes are presently on tour in the U.S. and have visited Los Angeles, Houston and Minneapolis.  During their stay in South Florida, Serrano and Fuentes will meet with representatives from the International Association of Machinist, Miami Cuban Friendship Association (headed by Elizardo Boscoy) and Iglesia De La Reunificacion Familia.

As a direct result of their leftist views, Serrano and Fuentes might be met with resistance by Cuban exile organizations or members of the student body at F.I.U.
